Welcome to the Union Square Food Tour! During this tour, you will get to intimately know Union Square’s incredibly diverse food scene, as well as learn about the unique history and evolution of this fascinating neighborhood. Dishes on the tour include:


• Addicting momos from a friendly and welcoming Nepalese restaurant 

• Vibrant and flavorful samosas from a family-owned Indian restaurant

• Tacos from one of Eater Boston’s 38 Essential restaurants

• Poutine within Bow Market, one of Somerville’s coolest destinations

• Artfully delicious sweets from a local Palestinian bakery 


And as a parting gift for joining the tour, you will be sent a post-tour email covering more of my favorite places to go, things to do, and food & drink to enjoy while you're in the Boston area!


Alcohol is not included on the tour, but if you’d like to get a drink after the tour ends, I’ll gladly point you in the direction of some wonderful bars.

  • Where does the tour begin and end?

    The tour begins and ends in Union Square in front of Vera's.

  • How much walking is there on the tour?

    There will be a 3/4 mile of walking, split up into about 2 - 2.5 hours. There will be opportunities to sit at each venue, except for the final sweet treat, which will be grab-and-go.

  • Is there transportation provided on the tour?

    All of our tours are walking food/drink tours. Guests meet at the departure point and walk between stops.

  • What's the minimum and maximum tour size?

    The minimum tour size is 2 people. The maximum size is 12 people.
